7th Sourdough Fly-In

WOW! What a great weekend. The sun was hot, the food was yummy, and the people were everywhere.

A weekend highlight was the Will Stoltz Band - who flew in from Nashville!
People hung around to dance and sing along and enjoy their message of hope.
And there's always magic in the air when Dave takes Jacque out on the dance floor.
The Sourdough Marketplace launched this year and was a big hit! Locals brought their hand made items to sell and there was a great variety: wood burned carvings, salmon skin and birch bark jewelry,
beautiful crocheted hats, Port Alsworth mugs, and a table full of free books!
The flying competition was down by The General this year and everyone enjoyed sipping their old fashioned milkshakes as they watched the pilots put on a fun show. Tanalian Aviation even did a fly-by in their helicopter, showering the cheering crowd in a swirl of dust. Well, cheering children anyway.
